07:30: We depart Dublin and make our way towards the south- west of Ireland through the beautiful countryside. Your state-of-the-art Mercedes- Benz van holds no more than 25 passengers for maximum comfort.
The tour will arrive in the village of Doolin around 11:00. If the weather is fine you may decide to take part in a boat tour of Cliffs of Moher instead of viewing from the visitor centre high above.
Those who choose to experience the Cliffs from the water will be taken to the pier at Doolin and introduced to the best local cruise operator. The cruise is not included in the cost of your tour and is paid to the operator on the day.
The tour will then continue to Cliffs of Moher visitor centre with the remainder of the group (it is an either / or choice as there is no time for both).
The boat cruise costs approx EUR 28.00 per adult with student and child fares available also.
We arrive at the world famous Cliffs of Moher, one of the world's great natural attractions where you can enjoy a relaxing walk and breathtaking views. Rising 820ft above sea- level, the Cliffs give you an opportunity to take in views of Galway Bay, Aran Islands, and rugged Connemara. You will enjoy a stop here for one hour and thirty minutes approx – the perfect amount of time based upon years of guest feedback.
EUR 10.00 skip the line access is included in the cost of your tour (there is no partial refund if you decide to opt for the boat cruise instead).
We lunch in either the traditional village of Doolin or Liscannor. There are a handful of traditional Irish pubs and restaurants which has many local dishes including the famous seafood chowder, soda bread, and freshly brewed Guinness.
The driver will decide based on the time of year and how busy the locality is likely to be with crowds from the big coach tours. We can't guarantee which village the tour will visit.
Depart the area around 14:00 and reach medieval Bunratty Castle & Folk Park by 14:45 approx.
You'll enjoy just over two hours here to explore the 15th Century castle and grounds. Many guests sneak out early to pop in to adjacent Durty Nelly's pub for an afternoon refreshment. Durty Nelly's was a favoured watering hole of the castle guards for several centuries!
EUR 10.00 entrance to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park is included in the cost of your tour.
Return to Dublin with a comfort stop along the way. Sit back and relax in your spacious tour vehicle whilst you reflect on a wonderful day in the Irish countryside. The tour finishes in downtown Dublin at approximately 19:45.
Note
All timings are approximate and cannot be guaranteed as weather and crowding in the locality can influence exact timings on the day
